Baskets with roses in Phuket: the gift that does not need anyone to be there
This format goes to places more often than to people, and that is not an accident of how it is sold. It is the only flower gift that survives arriving when nobody is home.
A wrapped bouquet left at a door is a bouquet dying at a door. The stems are out of water, the paper holds heat, and by the time somebody walks in it has lost the days that mattered. An arrangement on soaked foam has its water with it, so an hour on a shaded terrace or on a desk in an empty office costs it very little.
Delivery along the west coast takes 90 to 180 minutes, with separate windows for villas, marinas and airport routes. We work 9 AM to 10 PM, orders start at 2200 THB, and payment goes by bank card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PromptPay, bank transfer or cash in baht.

What the recipient has to do
Nothing, and that is worth stating plainly because people assume otherwise. The stems stand in soaked foam inside a lined bowl, the water is already there, and no vase, no trimming and no water change is involved at any point in the week.
The one job attached is topping up, poured slowly at the rim until the block stops taking it.
Two things come with that, and both are about weight. The handle on most of these baskets is woven decoration set into the rim rather than structure, and wet foam makes the whole object considerably heavier than the weave suggests. So it gets lifted from underneath, with both hands, by whoever moves it.
Which addresses this suits here
Three kinds of delivery on the island depend on the recipient not being present:
- a hotel room prepared before a guest checks in, so the arrangement is standing when the door opens
- an office or a shop in Phuket Town, where the gift is put on a counter during the working day
- a villa in Bang Tao, Surin or Rawai where the family is out until the evening.
Airport arrivals belong in the same group for a different reason. Baskets with roses in Phuket can be handed over at the doors and carried in a vehicle without anyone having to think about them, which is not true of anything wrapped.
Climate, and where it ends up standing
At 25 to 33 °C and in humid air a basket travels better than a hand tied bouquet, since the foam keeps working the whole way. From May to October the rain and the evening traffic on the hill roads lengthen the routes, and we put that time into the slot rather than into the promise.
Where the arrangement finally stands is usually decided by space rather than by light. A corner, a side table, the end of a counter: nobody rearranges a room for flowers. So we build for an ordinary corner under ordinary lighting, which in practice means keeping the palette light enough to hold its shape away from a window.
Imported roses do the body of the work, and Thai orchids go in where an arrangement has to stay presentable through a long humid week. Hydrangeas fill a wide bowl quickly when the brief calls for scale, and seasonal peonies go in as an accent when they are running.
Give us the address and the hour it will be opened, and the build is decided from those two things rather than from the catalogue picture. If nobody will be there at all, say so plainly: we will soak the block harder, cover more of it with foliage, and pick a spot with the person who takes the delivery rather than leaving the bowl wherever the door happens to be.
