Wedding flower baskets in Phuket: making one set do two rooms
Ceremony and reception almost never happen in the same place on this island. A ceremony runs on a lawn, a terrace or a beach platform, dinner happens indoors or under cover, and the flowers that dressed the first of those sit out the rest of the night talking to nobody unless somebody carries them across.
Baskets carry across better than anything else on a set. Two people move a pair during the drinks reception, without tools, without dismantling and without a second delivery, and the same arrangements greet guests again beside the top table an hour later.
That plan needs a name and an hour written into the running order. Assumed, it does not happen.
Orders start at 2200 THB, and payment goes by bank card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PromptPay, bank transfer or cash in baht. The working day runs 9 AM to 10 PM, though an install is booked to a fixed hour rather than to a delivery window.
"The move is the cheapest thing on a wedding quote and the first thing to fall off the schedule. We write it down with a name against it, or we price a second set."

Three details settle whether one set can do two rooms:
- The distance between the two, and whether it is walked in the open.
- Who is free at that hour, since it will not be the planner.
- Whether the first room needs to look dressed after the flowers have gone.
Weather is what breaks the plan
Between May and October the move happens between showers or not at all, and a covered route matters more than a short one. Air at 25 to 33 °C with high humidity is kind to a soaked block but hard on anything already open, so a set built to be moved is planted a shade tighter than one that will stand still.
West coast venues sit in a 90 to 180 minute window, and villas, marinas and the airport get their own. On evening hill traffic we add route time before agreeing an hour, and a wedding install is the one job where that margin is not negotiable, because a ceremony has a time and a road does not.
Rosewood Phuket, The Slate Phuket, Trisara, Banyan Tree Phuket and Veranda Resort Phuket all handle the ceremony to reception move with their own staff, which is the simplest version of this. A private villa in Bang Tao, Surin or Rawai usually does not, and there the second set is the honest answer rather than a hopeful one.
The end of the night
Somebody still has to take the arrangements out. Agree beforehand whether the florist collects, the venue disposes or guests take them home, and if it is guests, remember that a piece built to read from four metres is not a size anyone wants in the back of a car.
Villas need this settled hardest. There is no operations team inheriting the room in the morning, so whatever is left standing stays standing until somebody's driver arrives for it.
Thai orchids and tropical foliage hold their shape through a long outdoor day better than anything else we work with here. Imported roses and chrysanthemums sit behind them, hydrangeas want the biggest block in the set, and seasonal peonies go into the pieces guests pass within arm's reach.
Wedding flower baskets in Phuket are worth walking the venue for, if the site will let you in beforehand. Positions decided on a floor plan and positions decided standing in the room are seldom the same ones, and on a site that is half outdoors the plan is wrong more often than not.
