Wedding flowers in Bali: the order of decisions
Decisions cost less when they are made in the right sequence. The palette and the dress come first, the bridal bouquet is designed against both, and everything else in the day follows from that one arrangement. Reversing any part of that order means paying twice for the same choice.
The second common misjudgement is where the money goes. A bouquet is carried by one person and photographed with her; the ceremony point is looked at by everyone for six hours and stands behind most of the pictures taken that day. One generous installation where the vows happen does more for a day than a dozen small identical vases spread down a long table. That is not an argument for a smaller bouquet, only for deciding the split deliberately.
"The couples who write to us with a month in mind, before anything is booked, get the wedding from their reference pictures. Three weeks out we build the nearest thing that flowered."

Couples usually underestimate the venue and overspend on personal flowers. It is the most common budget error we see on a wedding brief. Three parts of the day are worth funding before the rest:
- The ceremony point, which is in every frame.
- The bouquet, which is in her hands from morning until the last dance.
- The tables, where guests spend the longest looking at anything floral.
Orders start from 650000 IDR. Payment goes through QRIS, GoPay, OVO, DANA or cash to the courier, and for a wedding we settle it well before the date so that nobody is transferring money on the morning itself.
The month you picked decides the rest.
What each month can give you
The drier season runs roughly April to October and the rains come November to March, and both change what a florist can promise. Seasonal peonies, ranunculus and lisianthus depend entirely on what growers cut that week, so a design built on them needs a plan for the week it does not arrive. Imported roses at 60-90 cm are the steady part of the list and Ecuadorian roses up to 120 cm come in when a build needs real length. Macrophylla hydrangea gives volume nothing else matches per stem and wants ordering ahead. Orchids and tropical foliage carry structure in this climate long after softer material has gone over.
Heat and humidity are the other half of that conversation. Above 30 °C and in high humidity we use firm wrapping and a cooling element for anything travelling, and bridal work stays closed until the last possible moment. A fully open peony that looked perfect during the morning preparations is a different flower by the time the ceremony begins.
Getting it to the venue
Wedding flowers in Bali almost never have a short journey. Seminyak, Canggu and Sanur sit inside a 90 to 150 minute window, while Uluwatu, Tabanan and remote villas take up to 3 to 4 hours, so a ceremony at a Jimbaran venue and a dinner in Ubud are two separate runs on the same morning. We deliver from 9 AM to 10 PM and install before the venue starts laying tables. Send the addresses as map points with a note on the entrance, because gates and access roads cost more time than distance does.
Keep the whole day inside one workroom. Batches of a single variety differ in tone between suppliers, and buttonholes bought separately will quietly disagree with the bouquet in daylight photographs.
Write to us with the month before you pay a venue deposit. We will tell you which of your reference images depend on flowers that will not be cut that month, and that conversation is far cheaper held early than after everything else is fixed.
