Red roses in Porto are chosen for anniversaries, proposals, quiet dinners by the Douro, arrivals after a flight and formal greetings that need a clear gesture. We work with Ecuadorian and Dutch stems from 50 to 100 cm, checking firm buds, straight necks and deep, even petal colour. Dark petals show tired guard petals and pressure marks quickly, so the florist inspects each head before the bouquet is tied. Wrapping stays restrained, without shiny inserts. For a Ribeira or Foz do Douro restaurant, we keep the bouquet easier to place on a table. For The Yeatman or Vila Foz Hotel & SPA, a taller single-flower format can suit the room better. Delivery runs through Baixa, Aliados, Sao Bento, Cedofeita, Boavista, Bonfim, Campanha, Matosinhos and Vila Nova de Gaia. Central daytime delivery usually needs 2 to 4 hours. Bridge traffic, Gaia wine cellar routes and the narrow streets near Ribeira need extra time. For hotel delivery we ask for the guest name and booking number. For a restaurant, add the reservation name and seating time. Roses travel with hydrated stems and are covered from rain when needed.
