#### Doing this at a villa door
Distances make the check worth doing here. Seminyak, Canggu and Sanur sit in a 90-150 minute window, while Uluwatu, Tabanan and remote villas run to 3-4 hours, and a bunch that leaves the bench in good order should arrive in the same order. If it does not, we would rather hear about it at the door than a week later. We work from 9 AM to 10 PM, and orders start from 650000 IDR. Rain changes the handover more than it changes the flowers. From November to March a courier reaching an open villa door has kept the box closed the whole way, and we ask for it to be opened inside rather than on a terrace, since the inspection is easier under a steady light than under a sky that keeps changing. Humidity changes one thing in that inspection. In this air a stem end stays wet longer than it would in a dry climate, so a damp cut is not by itself a bad sign, whereas a soft one still is. Above 30 °C the box goes out with firm wrapping and a cooling element, and we replace an outer wrap that has taken rain rather than letting it dry against the flowers. Long stay guests and villa residents order this palette more than visitors do, usually for a room rather than for a person, and they tend to be the ones who ask what to look for. That conversation is the reason this page exists. One seasonal point is worth adding. In the drier stretch from April to October a stem in an open room loses water faster, and the neck is the test that fails first, so a vase kept out of a moving draught buys more days than anything you can put in the water. Payment goes through QRIS, GoPay, OVO, DANA or cash to the courier. 
When the courier is still there, pull one stem and look at the end of it. That single habit tells you more about coffee roses in Bali than any photograph of the arrangement, and it takes less time than reading the care card that came in the box.
